Astrology
1.
WHAT?
Astrology is the study of the influence of stars and planets on human lives. It is the belief that the position of the sun, moon, planets, and star constellations when a person is born is critical. The planetary movements influence the Moments in Time.
The lunar nodes are the two points where the Moon's orbital path crosses the ecliptic, the Sun's yearly path on the celestial sphere. The North Node is always 180 degrees opposite the South Node.
2.
WHY?
Lunar nodes determine where your destiny lies and who you were in past lifetime;
-
Your North Node - represents your destiny and karmic path and is about desires in the material world.
-
Your South Node - represents your innate gifts and past lives, and encourages you to let go of emotional baggage.
3.
WHEN?
The birth of astrology is attributed to the Babylonians, who had astrological charts that they used to predict recurrence of specific celestial events. The Babylonians introduced astrology to the Greeks in the 4th century BC. Scholars such as Aristotle and Plato studied astrology which lead it to being regarded as a science. Soon afterward, the Romans and then the Arabs embraced astrology. Later on, it spread to the whole world.
4.
HOW?
The nodes change signs about every 18 months. People born within the same lunar node are the same "soul tribe" and are incarnated to learn the same lessons.

5.
WHO?
-
Astrologers use the lunar nodes to determine where your destiny lies (north node) and what you were in past lifetimes (south node).
-
Kabbalah's astrology focuses primarily on the lunar nodes. The North node (known as your tikkun or"correction") views it as the karmic adjustment that your soul must make.
-
Vedic astrology (Jyotish) call the North Node "Rahu" known as Dragons Head and South Node "Ketu" known as the Dragons Tail). These are meant to represent your karmic path.
